🇮🇱 Airstrikes have killed two of Hezbollah’s top commanders
🇮🇱
Israel’s PM Netanyahu confirms airstrikes have killed two of Hezbollah’s top commanders, including Nasrallah’s successor. As Hezbollah struggles under continued strikes, its deputy leader hints at backing a truce. Israel has deployed its fourth army division into Lebanon, ramping up ground operations against the group. Meanwhile, Hezbollah has launched over 3,000 rockets into Israel, though defenses have minimized damage. The U.S. sees Hezbollah’s shift toward ceasefire as a sign of their weakening position amid the escalating conflict.

Hezbollah are just Lebanese people. There's this framing of "liberating Lebanon from Hezbollah" like they're some kind of invasive, alien presence, when they're an entirely native fighting force organically arising from the injustices and abuses inflicted by Israel and the west.

i think it is somewhat difficult to square the notion that Israel’s attacks in Lebanon are indiscriminate with the notion that they’ve decapitated Hezbollah
